Ingredients
White round mutter(soaked overnight), 4-5 medium potatoes, 1 tomato, onion, corriander, chilli powder, jeera-corriander powder, salt to taste, oil for frying
Method
1. Boil the potatoes and mash them for making pattis. Add a little maida (2/3 bread pieces soaked in water and drained can also be used instead of maida) while mashing. Make round flat balls. Heat a pan and shallow fry the pattis till golden brown
2. Boil the mutter.
3. Heat oil in pan. Add cut onion, masala powders and fry them. Add tomato pieces and salt.
Add the boiled mutter and cook them for some time. Add water to make gravy - do not let the gravy dry.
Preparation
Put the pattis in a bowl. Add the mutter gravy on top of it. Add cut onion, tomato, corriander. Add sev on top of this. Add a little tamarind chutney for flavour.
