Sweet Corn Usal


Easy to cook and tastes delicious.

Ingredients
1 Sweet corn
Mustard seeds
Jeera
Oil
chopped green chilli
Salt and sugar to taste

For garnishing:
Grated coconut
Chopped corriander
Method:
1. Boil the corn in some water
2. In a pan, heat some oil. Add mustard seeds and jeera seeds to the heated oil
3. When the oil starts to sputter, add chopped green chillies
4. Add the boiled corn in this mixture.
5. Add salt and sugar to taste
6. Cover the pan with a lid and steam the corn usal.
7. Remove from gas after 5 minutes or when the corn looks cooked.
8. Add grated coconut and chopped corriander to the usal before serving
