400 gms Dudhi (Bottle gourd)

badam, pista, raisins, cashews (whichever you want to add)

Method
1. Wash and peel the gourd.And then grate the gourd/dudhi finely
2. Take some ghee in a pan and fry the grated dudhi.
3. Once the dudhi is fried (takes some time - around 10 minutes. saute in between), add raisins/cashews/pista and fry these also along wih the dudhi
4. Add some milk along with a little cream. Add kesar to this.
5. Let the halwa cook for about 10 minutes in the milk. Keep a little milk in the halwa to give it a milky taste.
